Springtime is finally here! After an unpredictable winter, the flowers are starting to bloom and the weather is warming up. It is time to, once again, enjoy the outdoors! We wanted to share some of our favorite springtime activities for families, pet owners and anyone who likes to be outside.

1. Planting a Garden - Green thumb or not, spring is the perfect time to spruce up the garden. With SP Turf, you won’t have to worry about the upkeep of a lawn, leaving you more time to add splashes of color with all your favorite flowers and plants.

2. Riding Bicycles - Beach boardwalks line the coast of California, and for our Oregon, Washington and Colorado fans, we know there are plenty of beautiful parks and bike trails waiting for you. Or why not cruise around the neighborhood? Maybe you start by teaching the little ones, right in your very own driveway – enhanced by the beauty our exclusive paver designs!

3. Backyard BBQs - Everyone should be able to enjoy a delicious meal, hot off the barbeque. Whether its hotdogs and hamburgers, a juicy steak or veggie skewers, with our barbeque islands, we know how it’s done!

4. Enjoy a Spring Evening - Young or old, watching the sun disappear is magical. All the beautiful colors in the sky and the cool evening air make for a picture perfect moment with the ones you love. And even after the sun goes down, enjoy the beauty of your own backyard with SP Lighting.

5. Backyard Camping - Another childhood favorite, camping out in the backyard is perfect in spring. Roasting marshmallows with an SP fire pit, telling spooky stories and stargazing with your friends and family creates an ideal night.

Really take time to smell the flowers this spring! We want you to enjoy the laughter and love you share with your family and friends. See our Outdoor Elements, Turf and Lighting to see how we can help make your spring a memorable one.

And we want to know… what are your favorite springtime activities? Who knows, maybe we’ll add it to our list of things to do before the seasons change!
