House on a Hill

Most recently System Pavers was appointed to install about 19,000 square feet of pavers – 18,880 Sq Ft to be exact, for a massive custom built home on the hill. To get an idea of what that is, keep on reading.

Needless to say, everyone is more than ecstatic to make this job happen! No job is too big or too small for System Pavers.

I was lucky enough to be invited to this project.  Over the next week I will share with you what lies on top of the hill. Also, be sure that I will update you on the installation process of this behemoth project as it continues to unveil.

Naturally we’ll begin at the entrance. Yes, that is soon to be a guardhouse with a real guard. This guard will allow or deny access onto the road containing the Six Stone Combo Classic with a 12”x12” stone in the center.  The paved road will lead to the home on top of the hill.  A driveway is one of those key features that remind you as you pull in, that this is your home.

Trekking up the driveway you’ll notice the numerous pallets of pavers. These pallets contain the Oak Creek Blend, the main blend of stone used for this home.

Oak Creek Blend is made up of Terracotta, Buff and Mocha Brown; the darker undertone of this blend will create the perfect match of stone pavers to match the color and design of the home.

Our first stop is the courtyard.  Notice the big round Roman Courtyard Design with a Compass Rose.  The compass rose is perfectly oriented to North, East, South and West. This was a nice touch suggested by an SP Design Consultant and approved by both homeowners.

The Roman Courtyard Design used cobble stone to provide the tightness and intricacy of the rose compass design. You’ll notice that the surrounding stone of the courtyard uses the Six Stone Combo Classic with the 12”x12” in the center.  The stone in the courtyard is known as Sienna – tumbled and embossed.  The tumbled and embossed stone gives a rustic differentiated look; installed this style generally has a slight wider gap between the stones.

The contrast of the cobble stone with the Sienna Tumbled and Embossed stone gives emphasis to the Roman Courtyard Design with the Compass Rose in the center.

This is just the beginning of the project, stay tuned for more...

System Pavers WINS prestigious Replacement Contractor Customer Excellence Award

System Pavers recently earned the respectable Hanley Wood Replacement Contractor Customer Excellence Award (RCCEA) for proving exemplary customer service as determined by the people serviced in the residential construction industry.

The RCCEA was presented by Hanley Wood; a multi-platform media company focused on the residential, commercial construction and design industries winners were determined by GuildQuality, an independent third-party quality verification service.

“It is an honor to accept the Replacement Contractor Customer Excellence Award. We work very diligently year round to provide quality service and stand by our work 110% by offering an unmatched 25-year transferable labor, installation and product warranty on pavers” said System Pavers CEO, Larry Green. For nearly two decades, System Pavers has created and installed over 40,000 outdoor makeover projects including interlocking paving stones, SP Turf, SP Outdoor Lighting, custom built-in barbeque islands, fire pits and more while maintaining a consistent 92% customer satisfaction rate per GuildQuality.

To promote better customer service in the replacement contract, industry interviews covering the full customer service experience were conducted by GuildQuality.  Qualification for the RCCEA was determined by a random sampling of these interviews conducted in 2010. Winners of the RCCEA were determined by the customer recommendation rate, overall customer satisfaction scores, and how many times customers responded to their surveys.

Backed by excellence in customer service, System Pavers is the only paving company to receive the RCCEA and is also a candidate for the 2011 Guildmaster Award by GuildQuality.
